Walk with Pride

The Youth Foundation’s “Walk with pride” program has already delivered over 1,000 pairs of shoes to children in need across Australia.

Kids grow quickly and for a significant amount of disadvantaged youth, this means having to wear second hand, scuffed up shoes that have holes in them from previous owners.

Not only should every child feel comfortable but they should also feel dignified and while shoes may not complete this process it certainly helps and puts a well deserved smile on their face along with helping their family feel supported while being in a situation beyond their control.

Walk with pride provides:

• Brand new shoes for disadvantaged youth from all backgrounds
• A sense of ownership for children
• Confidence for children who otherwise feel self-conscious
